Your tool against kidney disease.
The Nyrami app checks food for you, keeps your values in one place and gives you recipes and exercise that suit your kidneys.
Free to download. In Norwegian, English and Spanish.

Matched to your kidneys.
When you start, you tell the app which stage your kidney disease is at, which treatment you have and whether you have other conditions, such as diabetes or high blood pressure. Everything is then judged against the limits that apply to you. Setting up takes about two minutes.

Food, checked for you
Scan the barcode or look up a food. You see potassium, phosphorus, sodium and protein, and how much you can eat before you reach your limits.

Your values, over time
Blood pressure, weight, fluid and exercise in one place, together with test results such as eGFR. You see the trend, not just the latest reading.
If you have diabetes, you follow your blood sugar here too.

Recipes that suit you
Every recipe is checked per portion, so you can see at once what suits your kidneys, and what to have less of.

Exercise at your own pace
Sessions with video that you can do at home, and a weekly goal you set yourself. Shorter sessions count too.

Ask Nyrami
Wondering about food or your kidneys? Ask, and get answers matched to you, whenever it suits you.
Comes with Nyrami Pro. Guidance, not medical advice.
An app you can trust.
Free to use
You download and use Nyrami for free. Nyrami Pro is a voluntary subscription that gives you Ask Nyrami and supports the work.
Your data is yours
Your health data is stored securely, and you can delete your account and everything in it whenever you like, straight from the app.
Guidance, not diagnosis
Nyrami does not replace your doctor. The app helps you understand your numbers and ask better questions at the clinic.
Nyrami is more than an app.
We write the kidney guide, have built an eGFR calculator and gather signatures so that kidney disease is found earlier.
About NyramiQuestions about the app
What people wonder before they download it.
Does Nyrami cost anything?
No. Nyrami is free to download and use. Nyrami Pro is a voluntary subscription where the whole amount goes towards running and developing the app and towards the fight against kidney disease. As a thank-you you get the Ask Nyrami assistant. Everything else is free.
Which phones can I use Nyrami on?
Nyrami is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android phones on Google Play. You download the app, create an account and answer a few questions about your kidneys. Setting up takes about two minutes, and you can change every answer later.
What does the food scanner do?
You hold the camera to the barcode on a grocery product, and Nyrami reads what is in it: potassium, phosphorus, sodium and protein, assessed for your stage and your numbers. The answer comes in plain words: enjoy it, go a little carefully, or choose something else.
Do I need to know my test results to use the app?
No. If you do not know your stage or your values, you can skip the questions and fill them in later from your profile. The more the app knows about you, the better it can judge food and recipes for you in particular.
Does Nyrami replace my doctor?
No. Nyrami is a support tool, not a healthcare service. The app makes no diagnosis and gives no individual medical advice. It helps you understand your numbers and ask better questions at the clinic. Never change treatment based on the app alone.
Which languages does Nyrami come in?
Norwegian, English and Spanish. The app follows the language on your phone, and you can switch whenever you like. The website nyrami.com is available in the same three languages.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, under Profile, you will find privacy and deletion. Your account and all your data are deleted for good after 30 days, and if you log in again before then, the deletion is cancelled. You can also write to us at support@nyrami.com.
Scan the code with your phone and the right store opens.
