How we handle your data

This Privacy Policy describes how Avia Technologies AS (“Nyrami”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes personal data when you use the Nyrami mobile app, website (nyrami.com), and related services.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: support@nyrami.com.

Information we collect: account details (such as email address and display name); kidney passport / health-profile answers you provide; health measurements and logs you choose to record (for example fluid intake, blood pressure, weight); device and usage information needed to operate the app (for example app version, crash diagnostics, push notification tokens); and subscription / purchase status processed via Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We do not sell your personal data.

How we use information: to create and manage your account; personalise guidance and content; sync and display your passport and measurements; provide Nyrami Pro features; send service messages and (with consent) optional notifications; improve reliability and security; and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing: we use processors that help us run Nyrami (for example hosting, authentication, analytics, push delivery, and subscription management). They may process data only on our instructions. We do not share health data for advertising. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We use Meta (Facebook) to measure whether our own app install ads led to an install, account creation, or Nyrami Pro purchase. That measurement may include device and advertising identifiers after you opt in to marketing in the app. We do not send health or kidney-profile data to Meta.

Account and data deletion: you can request deletion in the Nyrami app (Profile → privacy / account deletion) or via https://nyrami.com/delete-account. When we delete your account, we also delete associated personal data from our systems, subject to the retention exceptions below. Freezing or disabling an account alone is not treated as deletion.

Data retention: We retain your account and app data for as long as your Nyrami account remains active. After an account deletion request, we permanently delete or anonymise personal data associated with that account within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, or accounting. Server logs and security records may be retained for up to 12 months. Data kept under an exception is limited to what is necessary and is not used for other purposes.

Your rights: depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact support@nyrami.com. We typically respond within one month.

The pledge on nyrami.com/bli-med: if you sign it we store the name, place, relation and comment you enter, your email address, and which consents you gave. Your name, place, relation and comment are shown publicly on that page only if you ticked the box allowing it, and only after we have reviewed the entry. Your email address is never displayed; we use it to keep one person from signing more than once, and to send the newsletter if you asked for that. Choosing "lives with kidney disease" is information about your health, so we only ever publish it on your explicit consent. Withdraw either consent, or ask us to remove your signature entirely, by writing to support@nyrami.com.

Children: Nyrami is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes: we may update this policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of Nyrami after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
